Birthday cause's flash back

I just realized I'll be 25 years old in exactly 2 weeks. Oh my goodness and in less than 2 months Brooklyn will be 5 years old. I can remember when i was 5 aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh. Nah its really not that bad i know i am not old. i think having a 5 year old will be harder to get use to then being a quarter of a century old. It wierd to think looking back where our family has been in only five years. Five years ago i slept in brooklyn's room. Brandon was in Utah starting over. Just after my 20th b-day Brandon came back to kingman. He started with a friend and i stayed here till brooklyn was 2 weeks old. Then we moved into a tiny 2bdrm trailer on carver. November of that year brandon proposed to me. We were married may 27 2005, brooklyn was 9 months old. We lived in that trailer of 18 months. Spring of 06 we moved to Utah lived in an apartment twice to size of the trailer. Tried like crazy to get pregnate and finally did at almost the same time as brittney. Leland and Odin born three days apart. While pregnate i got very home sick so we came back to kingman. Started with my mom, found jobs got on our feet and moved out in 6 weeks. Last summer we moved agin from our nice house on college to the house i grew up in. Now we rasie our family here. sometimes its a little strange but it feels like home. Over the years we have had alot of hard times and trials. But looking back i can honestly say everything happens for a reason.

Up in smoke....

Up in smoke.......yep brandons truck went up in smoke today. no i'm not kidding it really caught fire today. Lucky it didnt burn to the ground. Something under the hood shorted out and it caught fire. It is not driveable, melted the fuse box part of the battery, a clutch cable and some other wires. Good news it brandon didnt get hurt. It is already at the shop. Thank god we have good car insurance cus it is covered. Bad news it mite get totaled. Brandons friend use to work for geico and said she has never seen a fire claim not be tolaled. Either way it will be okay i have faith. I have some pictures on my phone i'll try to add to the post later.

Big Boy LELAND!!!!

Leland is offically potty training and doing great! Monday nite and tuesday morning before work leland would tell me i pee'd i pee'd. So when i got to glo's house (the babysitter and my bf) I said told glo we are going to start potty training again but seriously this time. We did a trial about 2 months ago and could tell he wasn't ready. So he has had a few accidents more yestrday than today. He pooped on the pot today, and told everyone about it himself. he is a very proud boy and loves the big boy underwear. It takes him awhile to pee but he stays on the potty till he does and tells us when he is done. I'm done I'm DONE! he yells. Any how i am very happy and proud of him. He is such a big boy and a fast learner.

Smrt Mommy!

So last week brandon was getting up and leaving the house before 4 am to go to work. About 3:345 am shortly after he went to work i heard my child crying. So i got up went into leland's room and when i opened the door i woke hime up. Then brooklyn said right as i realized i was at the wrong door. "mommy its me crying. " But smrt mommy thought it was leland. so they both slept the rest of the morning in my room cus i could Not tell he difference between her cry and his. I felt really stupid and later laughted at myself. thought you mite like a laugh too.

Miner Frustation

Miner Frustration caused by some family and friends. Thought if i blog about it others mite understand alittle more. So to start Brandon and I have (well everyone has) been struggling since the house market crashed. Brandon's job is very shaky from week to week as are lots. I have thought for some time the company he works for may be going under soon. His Boss/Owner is never around, he talks to brandon like he is trash when he makes a choice it wrong and when he dont make a choice his boss is mad then to. There is no please the guy. Brandon has to pay cash for fuel, parts, tires, material... the boss dont pay the bills. Brandon has managed to get work going now that he is in charge of sales. But it doesnt seem to be enough to make his boss happy. We had a very hard winter worse one ever. So now its summer time and things are picking up around here a little. Suncon a company here has major major work (full time plus) for the next year. And they need concrete drivers. So brandon applied and had a good interview. We are ecxtied it could mean more steady pay check, more trips to utah, less stress, money for brooklyn's preschool. But some friends and my family have said some very hurtful things to brandon about changing jobs again. so i thought i would set the story straight. He has worked there for almost two years. He always does what he thinks it best for his family. The way some of the things i have heard said to him about a new job...make is sound as if he changes jobs all the time, never keeps a job and we are always struggling. None of that true...so how dare you diss my husband for try to better provide for his family and lower his own stress level. If you said something and are reading this do me a big favor tell him sorry. you didn't mean it the way it sounded! If you had a choice stay till ur current job goes belly up or find better work wont you start looking to?

KAOL

KAOL (Kingman Academy Of Learning) here we come. Brooklyn has been on the waiting list to get in to kingmans only charter school since i was 3 months prego with her. My Grandmother Betty Rowe is the director and that helped alot. hehe its really hard to get in. She will go to preschool for an afternoon class. monday thru thursday no school fridays. plus she and leland will both get in for grade shool since she is enrolled in p-k. i am very excited and have a few friends mad at me that she is in. oh well tried to tell them i knew she'd get in. But ne-ways there are somethings i am a bite worried about. The money is cost almost twice what my mom thought it would so any grandparentsor great grandparetns that would like to and can afford to please feel free to help as a birthday present for myself or brooklyn or even early christmas. i know god will prove the means to make it happen i have faith. It is a great school with much higher standers than the pulic schools in the area and i know the kids will get a much better education there. I am very excited and sure august will be here be for we know it.

Investigator (I am)

So yes... i am an investigator of the morman religion. I am sure all my family knows Brandons family is morman. I have had many questions for many years. I have choose to sit on the fence and not understand. But Brandon finally sent for the missionaries to come visit himself. I was suprised to find the answers to my question came from the bible. They showed me. I very much enjoy the time we spend with them. however i am still a little upset. We first had sister missionaries for 2 weeks, then without notice they sent them to vegas and sent us elders (boys). They are nice i like them to it will just be hard to get use to all the moving around. we should have the elders for about 4 months i think. The sisters said even when i decide to become a member we can still have missionaries over for lessons. I would like to do that, be able to feed them once a week for years to come. But back to my learning I am way liking it. They have answered alot of my questions and are very helpful in my understanding. If any of my family have questions i am sure i can get it set up for missionaries in your area to come visit you too. And to Brandons fam i think we are getting close....love ya
