Today was Brooklyn and Lelands last gymcania for the season. They Both did so great. My dad works a rotating shift so he doesn't have many saturdays that the event is off. Some how it worked out that he got their last one off.
Leland rode Hoss thru all 4 events on a lead line behind My Dad on Moonie. I was really scared of the Idea at first. But He did great he is such a little pro. Before each event Brandon would set him up on Hoss and he'd sit there till it was time for him to go. Not quitely i mite add all the time saying the cutiest little things...."this horse is ready to go" poinnting to hoss. "That Moonie Papa's horse this my Horse" "My turn Papa lets go" of course not his turn still 3 kids to go before him. Then Hoss would move slightly pick up a foot or take a step forward and he start agian. "this horse scare me" " this horse make me mad not move." "Hoss not go yet" "oh it my turn now" it was so dang funny he was so excited he couldnt stopping talking about the silliest stuff. I sure love him. How Blessed I am to have the wonderful kids I have....that both know so welll how to melt my Heart.
Then right after Leland went Brooklyn on each event. She was not on a lead line like Leland. She had total control of Hoss herself. After Leland did lead line on each event Brandon would go in the arena, get Leland down, change their stur ups, set Brooklyn on Hoss and remove the Lead line.
Once it was all her turn she would follow my Dad on Moonie around the pattern. She would kick Hoss up to catch Moonie and to come home. I was so proud of her. Then on the Third event the Key hole. (which is really easy you go from one end of the arena down to a barrel at the other end go around the barrel and back to the gate) Brandon got her all set up to go. She turned and told Papa, "you stay here i can do it all by myself!" and away she went. Dad stayed on Moonie at the gate inside the arena. She rode down the arena and around the barrel. As she went around the Barrel she kicked Hoss to trot home. Hoss went alittle faster than she wanted him to probably because he wanted to back with Moonie. (Only a fast trot, he didnt turn the barrel and run home)Brooklyn screamed! She was scared and totaly forgot to pull back on the raynes and say hoo. Had she he would have slowed down, but she is still learning and has only rode alone a hand full of times. After she came out she looked scared and wanted daddy. (such a daddys girl) So daddy took her to the truck so they could talk alone because she did NOT want to ride the last event after that. I have no idea what daddy said but he got her talked in to doing the last event. Had it been me no way would i have gotten her to. Of course she let Papa lead and she followed every where he went on the last event, and even kicked Hoss up to a trot back to the gate. She had the Biggest Smile on her face when she was one she was so proud of herself.
They have finished the season with a bang both doing stuff today they have not done before. They will recieve a Belt Buckel on May 16th at 2:00p.m. Brooklyn is excited but alittle upset becuase we thought it was today she got her buckel. But waitng a few weeks and getting to go to the moutians for an award ceremony, with games and all the other kids and adults that ride...it will so be worth the wait!

My Grandfather's battle has begun.
My Grandfather "Papa" was found to have three types of cancer in January after test came back from his knee sugery in early December. I was not allowed to take about it for the longest time because my cousins did not know yet. I am the oldest by 9 years so some of my cousins are just a few years older than Brooklyn.
So they have been running all kinds of test and at first i think my grandma "ninny" was really out of it. Cus her story about what kinda of cancer and where and how much and everything was differennt everyday. It made me worry how bad it really was and how she was really handling it. It was all very stressful and still it.
They have been doing biops everyweek for a month. Ninny says the Doc is trying to find the source before he starts treatment. So finally they think they have the source. around the time lelannd was born he had melinomia skin cancer removed from the side of his face. That doctor never did any treatment or checked again. So that is the source.
He was scheduled to start radiation last thursday and then kemo on friday. Brandon calle me on my afternoon break and said he would do dinner. ( which means pizza hut) I didnt think anything of it. Then when i got home i called him to see how far away he was cus they weren't home. He was acting funny on the phone and made to promise to eat dinner and relax he had something to tell me. I had no idea what he was going to tell me. After dinner he took me in the bedroom put my arms around his neck and told me what happened today while i was at work. Papa had gone to the cancer doctor for a biop before going to radiation. Ninny said he came out of the office as white as a sheet of paper. The nurse had told him is oxygen was low. So Ninny put him in the car and drove over to his heart doctor. She told him to stay in the car while she asked the nurse what to do. The Nurse said take him to the ER asap.
So at the ER they but him on oxygen and did blood work x-rays a cat scan and some other test. They found one blood clot in each lung. The nurse said if she had not took him in right then he would be dead! ( how thankful i am that he is not dead i would probably have had blake that same day i could bear to loss papa while pregnant) Papa told the nurse he has been having trouble breathing for weeks but never told anyone. OMG papa are you crazy ..i told him thank god your still here. i know god still has him here for a reason!
He was in the hospital for 5 days. He was released Tuesday on Oxygen and blood thinnners for life! but at least he is still here. But he still has cancer to battle. First treatment of radiation was yesterday and kemo today. Radiation everyday and kemo once a week for 7 weeks. i sure hope his body can hanlde all of this.
He needs prayer for strenght to make it thru this. strgnth for day to day. And He needs prayer to find the Lord i am sure that is why he still here. I need prayer that he makes it to meet Blake.

The DEAL with Leland.
So I am going to tell you all the whole big story with Lelands poo problem so you know what is going on and can pray fro him and his body...........
Gloria called me at work around 10 am November 25, 2009 and said Leland had blood on his butt when she wiped him after he pooed. I asked if it was alot, was his stool really hard all that kinda stuff. She said alot of blood thats why i called not hard kinda soft stool. OK then send me a pic. she did so i tried to call brandon he didnt answer. He was in bullhead repoing a car. When he got the message from gloria he called me and said he was going to take Leland to the ER asap.
SO they went to the ER, the doctor did blood work, an X-ray, and a Cat scan. The doctor said he was very backed up, to change his diet and wrote a script for miralax to use for one week.
Brandon tired severaly times to follow up with a family practice doctor at north country...but was unable to becuase we had to fit there scheudule not them make an app to fit ours...so finally brandon took him to Dr. Gochocoo at ergent care..he said it looked better but to keep and eye on it.....
So since before that problem we have been trying to potty trian Leland he does well except everday he poos in his pants,,but no pee acciddents ever. So for about a month we have been getting him to sit on the potty chair when he wakes up from nap. Because that is the time of day he always goes number two. It helped alot he now has a few times a week rather than everday.
Then last week when he pooed all week there was blood in it. I kept showing Brandon and asking if he should go back to the doctor. Brandon didnt think so cus it was not alot of blood. But some days he poo was very hard and some days it was really soft but always had a little blood.....
So Monday March 1st, 2009 around 7 pm we were getting ready to go to walmart to get a few things. Brandon told Leland to go potty, while i was shutting down the computer. Brandon called for me to come clean up cus Leland has pooed, and Brandon doesnt do poo. So i went in the bathroom. I notcied the poo was pretty watery with a little blood in it. bend over to wipe his bum and could fell something soft in his bum. When i wiped it was bleeding still. So i took Leland and layed him down in the front room so i could see what i felt. It was a big red lumb that bleed if i touched it with tp. Brandon said lets go..i knew where to. He called my mom and told her to meet us at the ER.
We got taken right back to a room...after about 10 mins of waiting the nurse came in and said they just got two critical patients from a car acciddent so it would be awhile till he could be seen. So about 30 mins later the nurse came in and wanted to do a rectal temp. Brandon and i explained we didnt think that was a good idea because his bum was the problem. She said she had to and since the red mass was no longer there she did it. He screamed at first and then calmed down. Then about 20 mins later a resident doctor came in. asked us a few questions and said he was constipated to change his diet and give him lots of fluids. I tryed to explain to him we had already done that. Brandon keep asking abut the mass we both saw in our boys bum. He keep changing the subject back to constipation and to treat that! Finally he said i really dont think so i have never seen a two year old with an internal hemeroid....but i guess he could have one cus it wont hurt. (and i am thinking to myself at that very moment your a resident of course you have never seen it it a two years old you havent been a doctor for 20 yeast..not nice i know) Then he said he wanted to do and x-ray againg but no more cat scans. Then he left and never came back..he could tell brandon was ready to kill him. So the attending doctor came in...much nicer lisen to use both and our worries and said if it was my child i would take him to a Pediatric GI specailist only one is in phoniex. its unlikely he has internal hemeroid but possible. Take him to see a pediatrition and get a reveral to the specialist.
Then tuesday i called and had his doctor change from north counrty (because brandon refuses to go there period) to the ONLY pediatrition in Kingman. Then called that office and made an appt for thrusday at 11 am.
Next I asked my Boss (Dennis) questions about things the doctor had said the night before (without telling him it was leland my son) I asked about internal hemroids how to treat them? He said surgery if it is really bad or they rubber band it it dies and falls off. Then about half an hour later he came to me and said you can use hydocortisone suppositorries to help shrink it. So I asked is it otc (over the counter) or RX (script only) He replied RX. Then i asked the dose for a two years old. He stopped what he was doing and looked at me very worried..i could tell on his face. He asked for your son. I said yes and explain the whole story from the night before (he already knew about november) He must have thought about my son all day because threw out the day he would come over to me and give me little tid bits of info about what the doctor at the ER thought was going on.
Yesterday was the appt, Brandon took him cus well money if tight so i cant really afford to take time off. Need to save time off for when we go to phoneix to see the specialist. Brandon took him sah the nurse first i belive she asked so questions and then the doctor came in looked in lelands bum just alittle ways in. Gave brandon an order for blood work ( cus i had asked him to get a diebetic test too from before ) said he was straning to go poo when he didnt need to keep him on the miralax to keep it soft till he firgures it out and walked out. Gave brandon no chance to ask questions or say anything.
It makes no sense to either of us. his stool is watery half the time how is he straning to push that out?? Makes more sense that back in november he got an interal hemeroid from being backed up for along time at that point. internal hemeriods cause blockages which would be why its watery stool the big stuff cant get around the hemeriod.
So at this point i know not what to do except pray. Pray that the pediatrition is right, Pray that Leland figure out what poo is and when he needs to go. Pray that god watch over him and protect him. Pray that this gets fixed before he gets more damage or dies. Pray for all this to be ok. Please pray with us for Leland.

Birthday cause's flash back
I just realized I'll be 25 years old in exactly 2 weeks. Oh my goodness and in less than 2 months Brooklyn will be 5 years old. I can remember when i was 5 aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh. Nah its really not that bad i know i am not old. i think having a 5 year old will be harder to get use to then being a quarter of a century old. It wierd to think looking back where our family has been in only five years. Five years ago i slept in brooklyn's room. Brandon was in Utah starting over. Just after my 20th b-day Brandon came back to kingman. He started with a friend and i stayed here till brooklyn was 2 weeks old. Then we moved into a tiny 2bdrm trailer on carver. November of that year brandon proposed to me. We were married may 27 2005, brooklyn was 9 months old. We lived in that trailer of 18 months. Spring of 06 we moved to Utah lived in an apartment twice to size of the trailer. Tried like crazy to get pregnate and finally did at almost the same time as brittney. Leland and Odin born three days apart. While pregnate i got very home sick so we came back to kingman. Started with my mom, found jobs got on our feet and moved out in 6 weeks. Last summer we moved agin from our nice house on college to the house i grew up in. Now we rasie our family here. sometimes its a little strange but it feels like home. Over the years we have had alot of hard times and trials. But looking back i can honestly say everything happens for a reason.

Up in smoke....
Up in smoke.......yep brandons truck went up in smoke today. no i'm not kidding it really caught fire today. Lucky it didnt burn to the ground. Something under the hood shorted out and it caught fire. It is not driveable, melted the fuse box part of the battery, a clutch cable and some other wires. Good news it brandon didnt get hurt. It is already at the shop. Thank god we have good car insurance cus it is covered. Bad news it mite get totaled. Brandons friend use to work for geico and said she has never seen a fire claim not be tolaled. Either way it will be okay i have faith. I have some pictures on my phone i'll try to add to the post later.
Big Boy LELAND!!!!
Leland is offically potty training and doing great! Monday nite and tuesday morning before work leland would tell me i pee'd i pee'd. So when i got to glo's house (the babysitter and my bf) I said told glo we are going to start potty training again but seriously this time. We did a trial about 2 months ago and could tell he wasn't ready. So he has had a few accidents more yestrday than today. He pooped on the pot today, and told everyone about it himself. he is a very proud boy and loves the big boy underwear. It takes him awhile to pee but he stays on the potty till he does and tells us when he is done. I'm done I'm DONE! he yells. Any how i am very happy and proud of him. He is such a big boy and a fast learner.

Smrt Mommy!
So last week brandon was getting up and leaving the house before 4 am to go to work. About 3:345 am shortly after he went to work i heard my child crying. So i got up went into leland's room and when i opened the door i woke hime up. Then brooklyn said right as i realized i was at the wrong door. "mommy its me crying. " But smrt mommy thought it was leland. so they both slept the rest of the morning in my room cus i could Not tell he difference between her cry and his. I felt really stupid and later laughted at myself. thought you mite like a laugh too.
